Brooks had a crazy sock day at school. He loved wearing his dad's soccer socks that went all the way up his leg before James folded them down. He wore them all day long.

Piano Recital
Hayden has his first piano recital on Saturday, March 3rd. James figured out how to get the video from my phone to the computer for me, so finally the grandmas can watch him. He was pretty nervous in the morning, but once we got there he was fine. He played first and did such a great job. We are so proud of him. Right after the recital we had to rush off to his first soccer game of the season. Big kids are busy.

Awesome Weekend
| The Riverwalk |
| Here we are at the super sunny Alamo. |
My amazing friend Jessica came for a visit this last weekend.
She had crappy, delayed, and canceled flights, but finally made it here and home safely.
We talked a lot, shopped, toured the mandatory San Antonio sites, ate and talked some more.
I love this lady and it is so fun to get together!! I can not wait for the next time.
Thanks to Adam for taking off work so she could come and thanks to James for taking our kids all weekend long.

Rodeo
Obviously the Rodeo is a big deal here in Texas. We went on President's Day which happened to be a Dollar Day. $1 admission, $1 hot dogs, drinks, cotton candy, and $1 rides. It was awesome. We didn't see the actual rodeo, it was at night and doesn't even start until after bed time.
As we waited in line for the petting zoo I noticed a sign that said "Do not hold the animals" I thought, who would want to hold one of those smelly animals. Oh, I did! The little babies were so cute and they really wanted me to hold them. I followed the rules though. It was crazy in that little petting zoo of 50 animals and 100 people all trying to move. Keeping track of 3 kids all chasing after different animals was a little stressful.

Brooks is 5
Brooks is 5! He requested a Pirate Party and invited some of his school friends and church buddies. All of the little boys were so cute and fun. We played pin the treasure chest on the map, ate pizza, cupcakes and ice cream, and went on a very long treasure hunt created by James that led the boys to the pinata.
The Crew
Getting measured first thing in the morning on his bday. 43 inches He is really excited that he finally gets to ride Rio Loco at Sea World this season!
He requested pancakes and chocolate milk for his birthday dinner. We call him a Pancake Monster because he usually eats 6-7 pancakes.
Thank you everyone for his awesome loot!! He has had so much fun with it all already.
